Detailed information about Maxidin injections and drops for dogs

Description of the drug Maxidin

Maxidin is a veterinary drug that is used for immunocorrection in the fight against diseases of viral origin. The developer of this medicine is the Moscow organization ZAO Micro-Plus. Medicines from this manufacturer have long been popular among pet owners, and they are sold in almost every veterinary pharmacy.

Maxidin can be bought at any veterinary pharmacy

The antiviral and immunomodulatory effect of Maksidin is determined by its following properties:

  • increasing the body's resistance to disease (therefore it is often used to prevent viral diseases);
  • increased activity of the lymphatic system, due to which lymphocytes are activated;
  • stimulating the synthesis of its own interferon;
  • increased phagocytosis (own lymphocytes absorb and suppress inflammation, foreign proteins and viral cells);
  • acceleration of oxidative metabolism (cellular respiration).

In other words, the active substance of Maxidin, entering the blood, “forces” the body to fight hostile cells.

Composition of Maksidin

The drug contains the following components:

  • germanium bis(pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate) 1.5 mg or 4 mg (active ingredient);
  • water for injections up to 1 ml;
  • sodium chloride 5.5 mg;
  • monoethanolamine 0.00008 ml.

For some, the name of the active substance may cause misunderstanding. Germanium bis(pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate) is a chemical compound. This germanium complex was first described in 1990. It is known that germanium-organic compounds have a narrow spectrum of action; they are only capable of synthesizing interferon, and there are not enough raw materials to obtain this complex. That is why the properties of this substance are currently used only in medicine and veterinary medicine.

Synthesized interferons protect healthy cells from viruses and help already infected cells destroy the RNA chains of viruses

Release form

Maxidin is available in concentrations of 0.4% and 0.15% in the form of a clear, colorless solution:

  • Maxidin 0.4% is an injection solution, which is packaged in 5 ml glass bottles, sealed with rubber caps, and the caps themselves are also covered with an aluminum cap. This is necessary to maintain the sterility of the solution.
  • Maxidin 0.15% is packaged in the same transparent bottles of 5 ml. These are drops for instillation into the eyes and nose.

The solution of both concentrations is packaged in cardboard boxes (5 bottles each). The owner of a sick cat can purchase Maxidin as a whole package or individually. In many pharmacies, the drug is sold in 1 bottle (about 50 rubles).

The aluminum cap can be silver or blue. This is related to the release date. The label of the bottle and the box shows the manufacturer's logo, the active ingredient and the name of the drug itself (white letters on a blue background). Also on each bottle the release series is indicated in small numbers. This element indicates the authenticity of the drug. On forums there are often heated debates over the color of the cap, so if you have doubts about the quality of the medicine, pay attention to the release series.

Instructions for use are included inside the box. It details the composition, indications and contraindications, as well as storage conditions. But this does not mean that you can self-medicate. A cat owner's best friend when the animal is sick is a veterinarian. Only a specialist can prescribe the correct treatment.

The bottle label must contain the same information as on the box

Storage conditions for veterinary drugs

The manufacturer gives customers clear storage recommendations:

  • the drug should be stored in a dark and dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources;
  • the storage location must be inaccessible to children, strangers and pets;
  • The medicine should be stored in a place isolated from food and animal feed;
  • the drug must be stored in the manufacturer’s packaging (transferring it into another container is prohibited);
  • recommended storage temperature - from 4 to 25 degrees Celsius;
  • The shelf life of the medicine is 2 years;
  • unused, spoiled or expired drugs are thrown away with household waste.

It is convenient to store veterinary drugs in a separate place. For example, I keep all my cat medications in a special first aid kit. In addition to medicines, it also contains other useful items (bandages, thermometer, scissors, sterile cotton wool, syringes, etc.). I paste all the instructions into a separate notebook (because sometimes the boxes have to be thrown away before the expiration date). My sister stores some medications in the refrigerator (her mother-in-law taught her to do so), but this is not very convenient - all medications for treating an animal should be in one place, so that at the time of need there is no need to remember where and what is.

It is advisable to store Maxidin in the first aid kit with other veterinary drugs.

Storage conditions

The drug must be kept in a dark and dry place, in a closed package. The optimal temperature is 4-25 degrees above 0. Maxidin should be inaccessible to children and animals.

It is important! The shelf life is 2 years, which is calculated from the date of production. After its expiration, it is prohibited to use the product.

Maxidin for dogs is a remedy not only for fighting viruses and infections. It is also a drug for the prevention of various diseases. It has virtually no contraindications; it can be given to puppies and pregnant dogs. You should not skip taking the medicine, this reduces its effectiveness.

Indications for use

Maxidin is prescribed in the following cases:

  • to stimulate your own immunity at the risk of contracting viral diseases;
  • to combat infectious diseases of viral origin;
  • for the purpose of treating severe and chronic diseases of the upper respiratory tract;
  • for viral eye diseases;
  • for the treatment of rhinitis, conjunctivitis, blepharitis, etc.

Some people, having noticed the symptoms of a disease, try to choose a medicine on their own, but this is not always correct. The fact is that we can see external clinical signs, but each individual symptom can indicate many diseases. To determine the nature of the disease, its duration and severity, detailed tests are needed. High-quality diagnostics can only be carried out in a veterinary clinic. In addition, there are a number of nuances for using any medicine: contraindications, correct dosage, etc.

The most common reason for prescribing Maksidin is conjunctivitis

Maxidin solution 0.4%

Maxidin 0.4% is more powerful than eye drops; it is used to treat not only cats, but also dogs. This concentration of the drug cannot be dropped onto the mucous membranes; it is administered by injection. For the treatment of cats, Maxidin 0.4% is usually used for the following diseases:

  • calcivirus infection;
  • rhinotracheitis;
  • panleukopenia (distemper);
  • demodicosis (subcutaneous mite);
  • presence of helminths;
  • dermatitis and alopecia;
  • state of immunodeficiency.

Although Maxidin 0.4% was created for the treatment of purely viral diseases, cat owners often use this remedy to prevent infections. Many people buy this immunomodulator without the advice of a veterinarian (available without a prescription). Among breeders of purebred cats, there is an opinion that Maksidin can improve the quality of wool, so the drug is often used before various exhibitions and shows. A smooth, shiny coat indicates not only the careful care of the animal, but also its physical condition. You can also take a couple of bottles of Maxidin with you on trips (in this case, you need to remember about syringes).

Maxidin 0.4% can be used to prevent infection upon contact with a possible virus carrier

Maxidin drops 0.15%

Maxidin 0.15% can be called eye drops, since this solution is used specifically for instillation. In some cases, veterinarians distinguish between “eye drops” and “nasal irrigation.” Although irrigation is usually considered to be aerosol spraying inside the nose, and Maxidin 0.15% is instilled. And the type of use (in the nose or in the eyes) depends on the purpose for which the drug is indicated:

  • rhinitis of various etiologies;
  • inflammation of the mucous membrane of the eyes, including purulent (conjunctivitis, etc.);
  • initial stages of cataract formation;
  • discharge from the eyes (due to allergies, etc.);
  • mechanical and other eye injuries.

The developer of both concentrations implied that a more saturated solution would be used for severe viral diseases, and droplets would be used to locally enhance immunity (for example, a runny nose). But since the form of the drug and the main part of the composition are similar to each other, sometimes drops are prescribed for serious illnesses. For example, if the cat’s owner lives far from the clinic and does not know how to give injections on his own.

To “get” to the solution itself, you need to free the bottle from the aluminum ring. For this purpose, you can use, for example, scissors, but there will be no problems with the rubber cover (the main thing is not to damage it). If you use the solution for injection, you just need to bend one or two notches in the center of the cap. This will give you access to the soft rubber cap (there is no need to remove the cap completely).

To open the bottle or create access to the rubber cap, you need to bend the edges of the notches (one of them is shown with a red arrow)

Properties of the product

Maksidin is highly effective in the prevention and treatment of these diseases, increasing the body's natural defenses. Such effectiveness is determined by its properties.

Penetrating into the animal's cellular tissues, the active substance has a stimulating effect on the body's natural resistance to pathogenic microorganisms and improves the resistance of local immunity. In addition to immunomodulatory properties, Maxidin eye drops for cats have significant antiviral and anti-inflammatory effects.

Veterinary medicine can activate the synthesis of interferon. In other words, it purposefully blocks the development and growth of viral proteins, thereby preventing pathogenic agents from starting the process of their own reproduction in healthy organ cells. The drug destroys virus cells without causing damage to the cat’s body.

Another important feature is the significant strengthening of immunity by increasing the activity of macrophages. As a result, processes such as phagocytosis (responsible for the absorption and destruction of foreign particles), oxidative metabolism are stimulated, metabolism and chemotaxis (the movement of active cells towards the stimulus) are improved.

Features of use in cats

To correctly use Maxidin to stimulate a cat’s immune system, you need to follow several rules:

  • make sure there are indications;
  • choose the correct form of the drug (drops or injections);
  • calculate the dosage of the immunomodulator;
  • draw up a correct usage plan;
  • Call the veterinary clinic and clarify the dosage and schedule.

If I am sure that the medicine has been chosen correctly, I write down both the treatment regimen and dosage on a piece of paper. After that, I call the clinic, and the veterinarian either approves my choice or corrects it over the phone. If any dispute arises (for example, regarding the diagnosis), the veterinarian recommends urgently bringing the cat for examination. By the way, sometimes it happens that all available clinics are closed (holiday or weekend), and the 24-hour “veterinarian” simply does not answer the call. For such cases, I have the mobile phone number of our regular veterinarian (of course, it’s not very decent to call a person on his legal day off, but he doesn’t mind calls). Life hack for cat owners: do not keep your veterinarian’s business card in your wallet/pocket. The best place is on the refrigerator, as well as for the business card of the pediatrician on duty (those who have small children will understand).

The veterinarian's business card should be kept in the most visible place.

Maxidin solution 0.4%: course of injections

Maxidin 0.4% is administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly twice a day. Typically, the veterinarian prescribes a course of treatment lasting up to 5 days. If the animal recovers quickly, the course is reduced, and if the disease turns out to be complex and there is no positive dynamics with the use of the drug, the course is increased. Such deviations from the manufacturer’s recommendations can only be prescribed by a veterinarian.

Before using Maxidin in the form of injections, you need to calculate the dosage. This is done according to the following scheme: 1 milliliter of the drug for every 10 kg of animal.

Table: selection of drug dosage

Animal weightSolution dosageSyringe
Small cats - up to 5 kg0.5 millilitersinsulin
From 5 kg to 10 kg weight1 milliliter
Large cats - from 10 kg2 milliliterspreferably insulin
From 20 kg to 40 kg4 millilitersany, but with a needle from an insulin syringe

Is it possible to give an injection yourself?

You can do an intramuscular or subcutaneous injection yourself.

When working with an injection drug, you must follow a number of important rules:

  • Do not touch the rubber cap of the bottle and the needle with your hands;
  • You can only use a sterile syringe;
  • before piercing the lid with a needle, the puncture site must be treated with alcohol or an alcohol-containing solution;
  • to maintain the sterility of the needle, you need to touch it only at the base (in the picture below - the blue part of the needle).

For the convenience of drawing the solution into the syringe, the needle should not be inserted into the bottle for the entire length (4–5 millimeters is enough). Otherwise, the syringe will collect a lot of air and not enough solution.

When drawing the drug into a syringe, the needle does not need to be inserted into the bottle for its entire length.

The solution must be filled with a reserve (some will be spilled when air is removed). If there are still air bubbles on the inner walls of the syringe, you can lightly tap on it so that they all bunch up towards the nose of the syringe. By pressing on the plunger, squeeze out all the excess air and excess solution (let a drop appear at the tip of the syringe). There is no need to wipe the tip of the needle with anything.

If, when preparing a cat for an injection, you need to release the syringe from your hands without touching the plunger, put a cap on the needle (of course, if after removing it you put it back in the package and not just on the table surface). Otherwise, the base of the cap can be wiped with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.

My grandmother worked as a nurse in a hospital during the war years. She said that the wounded were brought in in dozens, or even hundreds. Most arrived with injuries requiring surgery. Antibiotics were in terrible short supply, so it was extremely important to prevent infection. And the only true disinfectant was alcohol. He especially helped out the operating doctors - in the preoperative panic they could only wash their hands in a specially designated basin. There is a popular idea that cologne can also disinfect well, but my grandmother learned the experience of field medicine for the rest of her life - she always kept a small bottle of alcohol in her first aid kit.

Before administering the drug, you need to release all the air from the syringe; a drop of the collected solution should appear at the tip of the needle.

For subcutaneous injection, you can choose the knee fold, but most often the injections are given at the withers. It is most convenient to give an intramuscular injection into the outer part of the thigh (the widest part).

For convenience, some owners shave the site of future injections (after all, in the case of treatment there will be several injections). It is recommended to wipe the needle insertion site with alcohol. When administering the drug, movements should be smooth, since the Maksidin injection is quite painful, and jerking, trembling of hands and signs of panic in your mood can also frighten the cat.

It is convenient to make intramuscular injections into the outer thigh, and subcutaneous injections into the withers.

Application of Maxidin drops 0.15%

Maxidin drops 0.15% are a drug for topical use, so the veterinarian will prescribe the type of instillation in accordance with the treatment regimen for a specific disease (for rhinitis - in the nose, for conjunctivitis - in the eyes, etc.). The standard regimen of use is 2 drops three times a day (for each nasal passage or eye).

The instillation site must first be cleared of dirt and secretions, as they will prevent good absorption of the drug into the tissue. Of course, you don’t need to wipe your cat’s nose with alcohol or clean its eyes with a brush; a simple cotton wool soaked in clean water will be enough. By the way, veterinary pharmacies now sell special solutions for wiping the eyes; they are also suitable for the nose.

It is not necessary to keep the cat on a “starvation diet” before using Maxidin. This medicine can be used regardless of your feeding schedule.

Action

Maxidin is an immunomodulating drug. It has pronounced interferon-inducing activity and stimulates the humoral and cellular immunity of cats.

Germanium as an active substance in maxidin activates the synthesis of interferon. It prevents proteins containing viruses from being transported, blocking their development and growth. Prevents pathogenic viruses from starting the process of their reproduction in healthy cells of the body. Increases the natural resistance of the cat's body.

The drug Maxidin has another interesting feature, namely a significant enhancement of immunity due to the fact that macrophages become more active. As a result, phagocytosis, which is known to be responsible for the uptake of foreign particles and their destruction, is stimulated.

Maxidin eye drops have significant anti-inflammatory and antiviral effects.

As a result of the practice of using maxidin, it turned out that it has an effective stimulating effect on the immunity of cats not only during the development of certain pathological processes, but also after infectious diseases suffered by pets. The cat's natural defenses also improve.

This medicine, due to its ability to enhance oxidative metabolism, is prescribed by veterinarians for the treatment of dermatitis and demodicosis in cats. Also, the use of Maxidin can speed up the restoration of the pet’s skin and improve the condition of its fur. Often, animal breeders specifically give them intramuscular injections before participating in competitions and exhibitions in order to improve the appearance of their pet.

Features of use in pregnant cats and kittens

Pregnant and lactating cats often manage to “catch” some kind of infection. This is due to the fact that before pregnancy occurs, cats have contact with a partner (mating). In addition, the body of the expectant mother is more vulnerable, so such individuals are more at risk of infection. If your pet gets sick before giving birth, signs of the disease may appear after birth. And a nursing mother can infect kittens, so veterinarians often prescribe Maxidin. It is not recommended to independently select such a drug for immunocorrection of a pregnant cat.

Small kittens (newborns and after 1 month) are not treated with Maxidin. This drug is indicated only for kittens after they reach two months of age. Moreover, Maxidin often needs to be combined with Novocaine (due to the pain of the injection). Drops are prescribed to babies according to the same scheme as for adult cats, but injections are recommended to be given 2 times a day. But there is a caveat here: if you are going to treat a kitten only with Maxidin, then you can immediately abandon this idea. The fact is that when using only this drug, the body’s immune system begins to work incorrectly, and the disease can become chronic.

If we are talking about the prevention of any diseases, it is not advisable for kittens to use this immunomodulator. Be that as it may, any medicine is an intervention in the functioning of the body; no one can guarantee that such manipulation will not lead to a negative result. It is better not to expose kittens to this risk.

Maxidin can be used to treat kittens older than 2 months

When is it prescribed?

The use of “Maksidin” in veterinary medicine was studied in detail by Stolyarova L.I., who wrote a scientific article in the journal, describing the effectiveness of the immunomodulator in the treatment of rhinotracheitis in cats. But the therapeutic effect of the drug also extends to other infectious pathologies, including calcivirosis, feline distemper and enteritis of viral origin. In addition, with the help of “Maksidin” they treat baldness, parasitic diseases and immunodeficiency. In the form of drops, "Maksidin" is used for kittens and older individuals who have been diagnosed with the following pathological conditions:

The medicine will help the animal with conjunctivitis.

  • inflammation of the mucous membrane of the olfactory organ;
  • injury to the eyeball;
  • conjunctivitis;
  • keratoconjunctivitis.

Interaction with other drugs

Like any other immunomodulator, Maxidin (both drops and injection solution) is effective in combination with other medications. Therefore, it is often prescribed in complex therapy with the following medications:

  • antibiotics (they will fight the virus on their own);
  • decongestants (for example, for allergic conjunctivitis);
  • healing medications (for example, ointments);
  • painkillers (Novocaine, etc.);
  • heart medications (for example, Sulfocamphocaine for tachycardia).

Maksidin is easily combined with most veterinary drugs

Veterinarians often prescribe Maxidin with Fosprenil. It is believed that these are analogues, although in fact immunomodulators act differently. In addition, two immunocorrective drugs have a double effect, so such recommendations should not be neglected.

Possible side effects and contraindications

If you follow all the recommendations specified in the instructions, there will be no side effects. Most cat owners confirm that the treatment was successful, without undesirable consequences.

The only contraindication to the use of Maxidin is individual intolerance to the components of the immunomodulator. A cat may not have such a feature, but sometimes there is hypersensitivity. Usually, owners know that their pet can be classified as such an animal (it is difficult for them to choose food, every pill makes them vomit, etc.).

If a cat has an allergic reaction to the medicine, the use of Maxidin should be immediately discontinued and the cat taken to a veterinarian. Instead of Maxidin, he will prescribe another immunocorrective drug, and to relieve symptoms, he will select an allergy drug (for example, Suprastin). These are general recommendations, since Maxidin usually does not cause allergies.

Analogs

Like almost any drug, Maksidin has several analogues - broad-spectrum medicinal and prophylactic agents designed specifically to combat different types of pathogens, and can also effectively increase the immunity of a pet.

Among such analogues are Fosprenil, Mastim, Gamavit, Gala-vet and Gamapren. But it is still better not to change the medicine yourself, but to consult a veterinarian and strictly follow his recommendations.

Feedback from cat owners

Drops were instilled, one at a time, into the eyes and each nasal passage three times a day. The kitten tolerated this procedure relatively well. It would be more problematic with an adult animal.

Our cat has a very small nose; his ancestors also included Persians. Fans of this breed know that animals of this breed always have watery eyes (the animal pays for a cute face with a small flattened nose). We have this problem almost all the time, I used antibiotics before, but now I only take Maxidin, because it is safe. I take courses for two weeks, the effect lasts up to three weeks.

All 6 of my cats started snot coming out of their eyes again. I ran to the best veterinary pharmacy in the city, bought the LAST two Maxidin 0.15, started giving cats three times a day, the course lasted a week. For five, the result is almost instantaneous - the eyes are clean, nothing leaks. Together with tetracycline ointment, the drops gave an excellent result, even the cat with a cataract stopped “crying” every day.

We took her to the doctor, but she said that there was no labor, the kittens were also moving, and it was necessary to operate. They cut out the cat's uterus with dead kittens. After the operation, they could not get the cat out of anesthesia for a long time. Afterwards, to boost the immune system and improve the animal’s condition, I began injecting the drug Maxidin, since it is a detoxifier. In principle, the animal recovered quickly, the surgical wound healed without problems, we removed the stitches and everything was quickly forgotten.

Maxidin is a medicine. Against viral diseases. Can be used as a preventive measure if there is contact with a sick animal. But I don’t recommend using it for a small kitten just like that!

This is Fosprenil - an immunostimulant, and Maxidin is more likely an antiviral. In fact, it is believed that Maxidin gives the best results with Fosprenil (or vice versa, Fosprenil works better in combination with M.), and they can be taken into one syringe and Fosprenil in this case serves as a diluent and significantly reduces pain.

Maxidin 0.15 drops

The drug is a clear, colorless solution containing 1.5 mg of the active ingredient in 1 ml. The box is equipped with five 5 cm 3 bottles.

The cost of packaging in July 2020 is 255 rubles.

Maxidin 0.15 has an immunomodulatory effect and induces the production of interferon. Blocks the formation of viral proteins. Activates immunocompetent cells - T and B lymphocytes, macrophages.

The drug is prescribed for the treatment of conjunctivitis, inflammation of the cornea, and rhinitis, regardless of their etiology.

Maksidin 0.15 is a dual-use drop. Depending on which organ is inflamed, the medicine is administered into the eyes or nostrils, 1-2 drops. The frequency of administration is 2–3 times a day. The drug is used until recovery, however, if no positive changes occur within two weeks, the medication is discontinued.

Maxidin 0.15 is not recommended for use in kittens and puppies under two months of age, since their imperfect immune system is not able to respond to the introduction of biologically active stimulants.

How to use the medicine?

Instructions for use of Maxidin for cats involve administering a 0.4% solution by injection intramuscularly or subcutaneously, using the product as drops in the eyes or nose of the animal.

The dosage is prescribed by the veterinarian based on the body weight of the four-legged patient. It is recommended to administer 0.5 milliliters of the drug to animals weighing up to 5 kilograms, and 1 milliliter to animals weighing more than 5 kilograms.

The course of treatment takes from 3 to 5 days, the medicine is used twice a day.

A solution with a dosage of the active substance of 0.15% is instilled into the eyes or each nostril 3 times a day until the cat is completely recovered. Before use, be sure to clean the nasal cavity or rinse the cat's eyes of secretions.

Maxidin eye drops for cats and the injection form of the drug should not be taken only in case of increased individual sensitivity to the components of the medication.

Very often, domestic cats are exposed to pathogens that even timely vaccinations cannot protect against. The activity of bacteria and viruses can cause conjunctivitis or rhinitis, which is dangerous to humans. To protect the body of cats and dogs, a number of drugs have been developed that help not only cure the disease, but also stimulate the body’s internal defenses.

Most veterinarians and pet owners appreciate the high efficiency and effectiveness of the drug Maxidin, which helps prevent the development of dangerous infectious diseases.

The main advantage of the product is its wide spectrum of action

and no contraindications.

Maxidin is a new generation drug that contains the active substance organometallic germanium and auxiliary components - monoethanolamine and sodium chloride.

Maxidin is produced in several dosage forms:

  • Maxidin eye drops 0.15% aqueous solution;
  • injection solution 0.4%.

The medicine is a sterile colorless transparent liquid of varying concentrations.

special instructions

If signs of an allergy are detected in your pet while taking the drug, further use of the medication should be stopped and the patient should be given antiallergic medications.

When working with the solution, you must maintain sterile conditions. The instructions prohibit eating, drinking, or smoking while using Maxidin. After finishing work, wash your hands thoroughly.

If the person working with the medicine is allergic to the drug, then direct contact should be avoided, and if the solution gets on the skin, rinse or wipe with a damp cloth.

Reviews about Maksidin

The eyes have always been a sore spot for our pet. Once there was such inflammation that the cat almost lost an eye. A week ago he returned home with a piece of glass in his eye. I had to go to the veterinary clinic. There they told me to buy Maxidin drops to relieve inflammation. After 2 or 3 days, the eye gradually began to open, and I thought that our Thomas would lose his sight. In general, an excellent remedy if it helped so quickly and after such an injury.

Vika

My cat is already more than 3 years old. About a year ago, her eyes began to water a lot and even fester, especially the left one. In addition, her nose was too wet. My husband and I went to the veterinary clinic, where we were told that our pet had caught a cold. This was quite a surprise, because I didn’t even know that this could happen. The doctor said to use Maxidin drops 3 times a day. On the third day, great improvements were already noticeable. The drug helped perfectly and quickly. It's also relatively cheap.

Hope

We got a cat: my daughter took him from the yard from a stray cat. He was then about 2 or 3 months old. He seemed healthy in appearance, but his eyes were constantly watering, and he also sneezed all day long. They took him to the veterinarian, where they almost immediately diagnosed rhinotracheitis. The doctor prescribed general strengthening vitamins, antibiotics and Maxidin drops to stimulate the immune system. On the 4th day, the lacrimation stopped and the kitten almost stopped sneezing. Gradually my appetite began to improve. Now I always keep these drops at home just in case. Moreover, we let the baby go outside when he asks.

Angela Nikolaevna

This is a fairly affordable, effective and safe medicine.
I first learned about Maxidin only when my cat contracted rhinotracheitis during mating. They took him to the vet. He said that a drug that enhances immune function is needed. He advised me to use Maxidin, as its action stimulates the functioning of local immunity. This medicine helped cure rhinotracheitis quite quickly. Then I decided (on my own, without consulting a doctor) to try using Maxidin to combat lacrimation. Previously, I only used antibiotics. Irina
