There are many reasons why a cat may end up outside the apartment. But the main reason is one - curiosity ! The alluring smell of another cat, birds jumping on the windowsill, a fresh spring breeze - all this is very attractive to cats.

Several years of experience in rescuing cats has shown that cats, like other domestic animals, run outside and climb trees at certain periods of time. It depends on the weather, the time of year, and often on something else that affects both animals and people. It is noticeable that these days even human performance decreases and injuries increase.

Now we already know that if suddenly, one day, several calls are heard in the morning and everyone is asking to save the animal, it means that “crisis” days have come for cats (and not only for them) in our city.

We keep statistics of such periods. For example, in October 2005 in Moscow, in the first week alone, 15 cats climbed up and could not get down from the trees on their own, two cats got into a gap between the buildings and refused to get out on their own, one climbed onto the balcony of neighbors who were away.
