To make a hedgehog simulator with more endings than a cat, you can use thinner steel wire. In the process of clearing algae from a reservoir, the plural ends of the wires should not bend.

Of course, the prickly device does not have to be carried or carried with you all the time. It is better to hide a “cat” or a “hedgehog” on the shore of a reservoir and use them to clean the reservoir as needed.

To make a hedgehog, we cut four to six pieces 25-30 cm long from annealed steel wire with a diameter of 2-3 mm, and twist them together in the middle. The result will be a hedgehog with 8-12 with “needles” directed in all directions.

To make a cat in the form of an anchor, pieces of wire will be needed twice as long as for a hedgehog. Next, we bend the wire rods in half and twist them, guided by the drawing. As a result, we get a device quite suitable for cleaning a reservoir.

In both twists we provide loops for tying the “cat” or “hedgehog” to strong twine. Then we clean the desired fishing spot with the manufactured device.

Warning! If during the process of cleaning the reservoir you feel a powerful snag on something, then the cat (hedgehog) should be pulled out of the reservoir by standing behind the shelter.

Or the twine should be placed behind a thick tree trunk and the hedgehog should be pulled out of the pond, being to the side of the direction of its flight. The most dangerous are hedgehogs and cats on horseback near the shore of a reservoir on flexible tree branches.
